Our Doctors
Nathan Douglas DVM
Dr. Douglas is one of the owners of Cedar Park Animal Clinic. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Dr. Douglas is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. His veterinary interests include internal medicine and lameness. Dr. Douglas has two children, Noah and Maddie. His four-legged crew consists of Snuff, a mutt, Taps, a mini-dachshund, and two domestic short hair cats, Wilson and Moomba. Dr. Douglas enjoys golfing, the outdoors, and spending time with his kids!
Matthew Thompson DVM
Dr. Thompson is the other owner of Cedar Park Animal Clinic. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. Dr. Thompson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Thompson moved to the Cedar Park area in 1998 and became a partner at the clinic in 2003. Dr. Thompson enjoys the personal one on one time with clients in the exam room, both to discuss pets health needs as well as many other life topics.

Veterinary Assistant
Lauren, a Certified Vet Assistant, has been with Cedar Park Animal Clinic since 2004. She is our hospital technician and spends most days caring for hospitalized patients and assisting the doctors with pets throughout the facility. She is passionate about animals and their care and loves helping clients with their furry friends. Her soft spot is, without doubt, geriatric pets and she is a huge advocate for the adoption of older animals. Away from work, she is busy with her four dogs Chili, Mitzvah, Sadie Crow and Phyllis and her two cats Monty and sweet Zelda. In addition, she cares for a colony of feral cats and supports TNR. In her spare time, she loves to read and take the dogs for walks at Brushy Creek.
Jeannie
Jeannie joined Cedar Park Animal Clinic in 2015. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Jeannie is from Arkansas where her family and beloved horse still live. She and her husband Jamie have 3 kids; daughter Isabella, and two dogs: Boxer and Devil-lin. They also have two snakes named Skie and Aurora. Jeannie spends her spare time with her family and riding her motorcycle.
Lynn
Lynn is one our valued receptionists. She is a Certified Animal Health technician allowing her to jump in and help our pets when needed. Born in Canada, Lynn and family moved to Austin after a lengthy adventure in Dubai, U.A.E. She has two children in high school; a daughter who is a senior and a sophomore son. The family also boasts 3 pets! “Leo” the cat, “Boomerang” a Golden Retriever and “Skye” the Saluki. Her passions are family, pets, ice hockey and traveling the world.
