Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet’s comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client. Clients can choose to either stay with their pet or to have this procedure performed as a drop-off.
We also offer private cremation services done on site and a variety of memorialization items including our Redwood or specialty urns. Our cremation service gives you the peace of mind knowing that we will care for your pet in the same caring compassionate way we did throughout their life without the need to transport them to another location. Find peace of mind in knowing your pet is with us through the whole process and that we will give both you and your loved pet the same quality and compassionate service you have come to trust with Cedar Park Animal Clinic.
Your pets remains are handled with dignity and respect. Our identification and tracking process ensure that only your pets’ cremains are returned to you.
Cremation is the process of reducing the body by exposing it to intense heat. Through high heat, the body is reduced to its basic mineral form. Although the remains are commonly called “ashes”, the proper term is “cremains.” There is the option of doing an individual cremation or a communal cremation. The best way to determine which is right for you and your pet is to to ask yourself, “Is it important to have my pet’s ashes back?” E-mail us email cpanimalclinic@gmail.com or call us at 512-258-2221 and we will gladly send or tell you cost details.
In an individual cremation your pet is placed in their own section of the cremator. Your pets cremains are returned sealed in plastic inside a tasteful wooden box with a key. We have a catalog with a variety of urns or other keepsakes of your choice you can order from. Cedar Park Animal Clinic has a standard process for identifying and tracking your pet. You can be assured that only your pets’ cremains are returned to you. We will treat your pet with the care and respect they deserve.
Your pet is cremated along with other pets and the cremains are not returned to you.
