At Cedar Park Animal Clinic, our USDA Accredited veterinarians offer both Interstate and International Health Certificates for dogs and cats. We understand how stressful it can be to travel, especially when your pets are involved. We can help you navigate the process and ensure your travels are as smooth as possible.

Information about acquiring a health certificate

  1. If you are traveling between Texas and another state (except Hawaii), please call and schedule an appointment.
  2. If you are traveling to Hawaii, please let us know which island you are arriving on, and when you plan to travel. Please visit https://hdoa.hawaii.gov/ai/aqs/aqs info/ for requirements.
  3. If you are planning on traveling with your pet out of the country, it is important to begin planning well ahead of your intended time of travel. Some foreign countries require special testing which can be time sensitive. Please visit https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/pet-travel to review the requirements for entry. and select your destination country

If you are planning to travel with your pet out of the country or to Hawaii, please follow these steps:

If you are not a Cedar Park Animal Clinic client, please email your pet’s records to us at cpacstaffmail@gmail.com for review prior to scheduling. If you cannot provide needed documentation OR complete the requirements within your desired time-frame, we will not be able to schedule an appointment.

For current clients, please verify with us that your records will allow us to complete the certificate before scheduling an appointment.

Finally, we recommend checking with your airline and destination country for any additional requirements. You are responsible for any airline forms or import permits required.
